Job Purpose

We are looking for a high-performing and self-driven professional to join our IBG Bancassurance Product Management team as a Senior Associate / AVP. In this role, you will manage, drive, and scale the corporate bancassurance product portfolio. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external insurance providers to deliver comprehensive risk-mitigation and wealth-preservation solutions for institutional and corporate banking clients, while championing operational excellence and digital transformation.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance & Control

• Strengthen insurance sales process frameworks to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
• Ensure effective compliance control and accurate documentation across all sales activities
• Assist the Team Head in managing Risk and Control Self-Assessment, internal audits, and compliance reviews.
• Conduct pre-transaction checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of insurance applications
• Provide operational and administrative support to the IBG Bancassurace team
• Develop and implement operation guide and related frontline support materials to support consistent and compliant sales process and policy up-to-update

Product Management

• Drive the onboarding of insurance products as eligible collateral
• Coordinate staff and stakeholder briefings on insurance sales process updates, product enhancements, and new product launches
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external insurance partners to design bespoke insurance solutions that meet corporate clients' wealth and risk management needs

Digitalisation & Process Transformation

• Support digitalization initiatives within the bancassurance team to streamline workflows and enhance digital touchpoints
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and elevate overall client and RM experience

Stakeholder & Partner Management

• Act as the primary escalation point for internal stakeholders and external insurance partners regarding complex policy administration, policy assignment follow-ups, and operational inquiries
• Prepare management reports (MIS), business performance updates, and presentation materials for leadership and partner reviews
• Work with Compliance, L&C, COO Office and business partners to onboard business initiatives

 

Requirements

• Degree holder in related disciplines
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or insurance, preferably with a strong background in Bancassurance, Corporate Banking, or Product Management
• Self-starter with a tenacity to succeed, and a flair for customer servicing
• Excellent communication, presentation and consultative solutioning skills
• Strong influencing and negotiation skills, able to drive cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) to liaise with regional stakeholders and business partners
