Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. Each day, you will focus on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the entire Service product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion Services Business, based at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Driving Motor & Generator aftersales and service growth, focusing on Installed Base penetration, maintenance/service opportunities, upgrades, retrofits and lifecycle solutions.
• Developing service opportunities with industrial customers by identifying customer needs, converting Installed Base opportunities into leading and securing profitable orders.
• Promoting the broader Motion Services portfolio alongside Motor & Generator services, providing customers with integrated lifecycle and value-added service solutions.
• Building strong customer relationships, developing account/service sales plans, maintaining a healthy opportunity pipeline and executing recovery actions where required.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in sales, service sales or technical sales, preferably involving industrial motors, generators or rotating equipment.
• Good understanding of Motor & Generator lifecycle services, including maintenance, repair/overhaul, upgrades, retrofits and condition-related service opportunities.
• Strong commercial and customer-facing capability with the ability to develop opportunities and close profitable service orders.
• Ability to understand customer technical requirements and translate them into appropriate service solutions.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills, with willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
