THE JOB:

Bavette's Steakhouse represents one of the premier dining destinations within the MGM Resorts portfolio, recognized for exceptional culinary execution and high-caliber hospitality, located inside of Park MGM.

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager to take full operational and strategic ownership of the venue. In this role, you will lead a dedicated management cadre, optimize venue performance, and champion uncompromising service standards. You will bridge brand vision with disciplined business execution—driving covers, maximizing revenue, and developing a high-performance service culture in a premier steakhouse environment.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Drive and oversee day-to-day dining operations—balancing smart labor management, inventory precision, high-touch guest standards, and agile marketing efforts to maximize both immediate returns and sustainable profitability.
• Partner alongside the Executive Chef to steer the restaurant’s overarching business strategy, serving as the proud voice and representative of the venue across property and corporate forums.
• Translate operational procedures, pricing strategies, menu launches, and company-wide F&B initiatives into seamless daily execution on the floor.
• Uphold impeccable standards of cleanliness, health, and beverage sanitation across the venue, ensuring the entire team stays current on critical compliance training.
• Cultivate an inspiring, respectful workplace built on real-time coaching, recognition, and teamwork, while actively driving talent acquisition, inclusive hiring, and long-term career growth.
• Champion a collaborative, transparent labor relations culture, ensuring fair practice and complete alignment with company standards, employment regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Be an active, visible presence on the floor—connecting with guests, reading the room, and ensuring every dining experience hits the mark.
• Own the guest recovery process with swift, thoughtful solutions, leveraging feedback trends and working in lockstep with the Executive Chef to keep kitchen and service execution entirely in sync.
• Maintain an authoritative, nuanced command of our food, wine, cocktail programs, and back-of-house technology to lead by example and mentor the team effectively.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required
• Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant or like outlet preferred.
• A confident and approachable leader who is comfortable engaging with guests, team members, and partners.
• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of the guest and employee experience
• Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred
