The Opportunity
We are seeking a Revenue & Operations Coordinator to join our Firm. This position will be based in our D.C. office (hybrid). The Revenue & Operations Coordinator serves as a dedicated support function to the Revenue & Operations Project Manager(s) (“PM”).The Coordinator assists the PM with Client Accounting and intake workflows including billing, e-billing, rates, collections, new business intake, conflicts, and engagement letter processes by helping to gather and organize information from partners, clients, Client Accounting, and other internal teams, tracking status, and supporting communication with stakeholders as directed by the PM. The Revenue & Operations Coordinator may support specific partners, practice groups, or clients, as well as assist wherever needed individually or as part of a support team. Serves as the primary point of contact and liaison for assigned partners, practice areas, their clients, and internal client administration and accounting teams, building strong, trust-based relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
- Helps gather required billing information for assigned partners and clients, tracks status, and flags issues for PM review.
- Supports e-billing workflows by helping to gather required information, coordinating with billing and e-billing staff as directed, tracking invoice status for collections purposes, and flagging rejections or deductions for PM review.
- Assists with timekeeper and billing rate submissions, monitors approvals, and flags discrepancies for PM review.
- Tracks aged invoices and supports collections efforts by coordinating with partners, clients, and internal teams as directed by the PM.
- Helps coordinate with the BIS Conflicts and Engagement Letter teams at the PM’s direction by gathering required information from partners and other stakeholders, tracking the status of conflicts requests and engagement letter processes, and relaying information to ensure responses to BIS questions are provided. Provides information to Executive Assistants as needed to support their preparation of conflicts requests and/or engagement letters.
- Gathers and organizes the information required for new client and new matter intake memos as directed by the PM, coordinating with relevant teams and systems.
- Tracks the status of engagement letters, coordinates distribution logistics, and maintains an organized file of pending engagement letters.
- Supports client and matter onboarding activities by gathering information as directed and helping to ensure compliance with firm and client requirements.
- Assists with tracking and coordinating billing arrangements, alternative fee arrangements, and special pricing as directed.
- Supports the PM in maintaining organized records of client outside counsel guidelines and audit request documentation.
- Maintains consolidated task trackers and status updates for the PM’s assigned partner portfolio to support organized
- follow-up and communication.
- Assists PM with complex projects and problem-solving tasks, including research, data compilation, process documentation, and other project support as assigned.
- Obtains and relays information among partners, clients, Client Accounting, and other internal teams as needed to support the PM’s workflow and decision-making.
- Ensures compliance with firm operations, policies, and procedures.
- Handles sensitive matters with discretion and maintains strict confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
- Regular and reliable physical presence

Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work collaboratively with partners, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to learn new systems (e.g., Aderant Expert, iManage)
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with law firm or professional services operations, including billing, e-billing, rates, collections, intake, and conflicts processes, is preferred
- Solutions-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work well independently and within a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs
- High degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment, preferably in client accounting, billing, or related operational functions.

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.
