Description
GlycoEra’s Analytics team is responsible for supporting research projects, product- and process development as well as the release of material for clinical studies by developing and performing state-of-the-art (glyco)protein analytical assays.
## Tasks
- Perform routine analytical testing of biomolecules, including proteins and glycans, using techniques such as HPLC, immunoassays, and classical biochemical methods.
- Develop, optimize, execute, and qualify state-of-the-art analytical methods for the characterization of GlycoEra’s product candidates as well as process- and product-related impurities, including ELISA, U/HPLC, CE-SDS, and related techniques.
- Independently execute analytical research and development projects.
- Analyze, interpret, document, and present analytical data in scientific meetings and project discussions.
- Perform laboratory equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and general laboratory support activities.
## Requirements
You are an efficient, proactive, and quality-focused individual with the following qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience with protein analytical techniques, including HPLC, ELISA, and CE-SDS, is essential.
- Solid understanding of protein biochemistry and analytical characterization, including post-translational modifications such as glycosylation.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and laboratory databases.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to generating accurate, reliable, and high-quality data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multicultural team environment.
