Description
Welcome to the Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS) Internship Program!

Our unpaid internship program offers students the opportunity to earn valuable course credit while gaining practical experience alongside dedicated professionals who are making a difference in communities across Georgia, with potential opportunities available throughout all 51 judicial circuits.
Interns receive mentorship from experienced Community Supervision Officers and other professionals while exploring a variety of career paths within our agency. Whether assisting with Georgia's probation and parole process or contributing to areas such as Finance, External Affairs, Information Technology, Human Resources, and other administrative functions, interns gain real-world knowledge, develop professional skills, and make meaningful contributions to our mission. For students approaching graduation, exceptional performance may also lead to contingent employment opportunities, providing a pathway from the classroom to a rewarding career in public service.
