Description
1) Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organisation's health tourism strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and expand international markets to increase patient referrals and revenue.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare facilitators, insurance providers, travel agencies, embassies, government agencies, and corporate organisations.
- Lead the International Patient Services team to deliver seamless end-to-end patient experiences.
- Collaborate with clinical departments to develop attractive healthcare packages and specialised medical programmes.
- Oversee marketing and promotional campaigns targeting international markets.
- Represent the organisation at international conferences, exhibitions, and trade missions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in health tourism.
- Develop annual budgets, KPIs, and performance reports for the department.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and international patient service requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and patient satisfaction.
2) Job Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
- Master's degree (MBA, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in healthcare management, health tourism, international patient services, business development, or a related field.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial role.
- Demonstrated success in developing international markets and strategic partnerships.
- Experience in hospital operations or medical tourism programmes is highly desirable.
