Job Description

The Salesforce Solution Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that support the organization's business operations. Working under the direction of the Principal Salesforce Platform Architect, this role owns the technical implementation of assigned enhancements, custom development, automation, and production defect resolution while partnering with business stakeholders, support, and release management to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Solution Analyst continuously develops technical expertise while contributing to the long-term success and scalability of the Salesforce platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, and implementation of assigned Salesforce enhancements, custom functionality, and technical solutions.
  • Translate approved business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions using custom objects, fields, Flows, validation rules, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other platform capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and reusable platform components that support business operations and improve system efficiency.
  • Analyze technical requirements and recommend scalable development approaches that align with established Salesforce architecture and development standards.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production defects involving Salesforce functionality, custom development, integrations, automation, and managed applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations, backend automation, and data-processing solutions that improve operational efficiency and data quality.
  • Perform unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and support user acceptance testing for newly developed functionality.
  • Build and maintain Apex unit tests to support code quality, deployment readiness, and long-term platform stability.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
  • Research and evaluate new Salesforce platform capabilities, artificial intelligence tools, and emerging technologies that improve development efficiency and business value.
  • Develop proof-of-concept solutions to evaluate new platform capabilities and recommend adoption opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Release Specialist to validate enhancements, resolve deployment issues, and support successful production releases.
  • Utilize DevOps and project management tools to manage assigned work, source control, technical documentation, and development activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for custom development, integrations, automation, system configurations, and development standards.
  • Analyze existing Salesforce solutions to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, simplification, and technical improvement.
  • Assist in monitoring platform performance, automation reliability, and data quality while recommending technical improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Support Team Lead to investigate recurring production issues and develop long-term technical solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Stay current on Salesforce platform capabilities, development best practices, artificial intelligence, DevOps methodologies, automated testing practices, and emerging technologies.

  • One to three years of Salesforce development or technical Salesforce administration experience.
  • Experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flows, validation rules, and custom objects.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce security, reports, dashboards, and platform configuration.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, Gearset, Copado, or similar DevOps platforms.
  • Experience with ACCELQ or other automated testing tools.
  • Experience supporting Financial Services Cloud, nCino, or other enterprise Salesforce applications.
  • Experience developing REST API integrations and data migration solutions.

 

 

Education and/or Experience                                                     

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

 

Computer Skills                                                               

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.  Ability to learn other Bank-specific software.
