JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Pennsylvania State University, Harrisburg, School of Business Administration, periodically has part-time openings for instructors to teach undergraduate Management courses across the curriculum.
These openings are one semester in duration and non-tenure-track, with the possibility of reappointment.
Job Duties
- Part-time instructors typically teach one to three undergraduate courses per semester on campus related to Management.
- Successful candidates must be able to work effectively with diverse populations and audiences.
- Part-time lecturers prepare course lessons, evaluate students, hold regular office hours, and are expected to become proficient with Canvas, the University’s learning management system.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Earned Master's degree in Management, Master's in Business Administration, or a master's in a closely related business field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business experience in a management role.
- College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred
