POSITION SUMMARY:
HRIS Support provides assistance and support to HR Systems users, including reviewing and completing transactions in Workday and UKG, answering user phone calls and emails about systems and employee data, creating help documentation and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our employee’s demographic data, compensation, work schedules and time card records.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS
50%- Phone and Email User Support: Provides assistance and support of a moderately complex nature to employees and managers with using the Workday and LS Time applications. Frequent questions include hiring, compensation, job changes, timecards, schedules, data corrections and information requests.
50% - Assists in the timely and accurate processing of employee data within HR applications including hiring, new employee onboarding, position or pay changes, timecard corrections, promotions and terminations. As managers and employees submit tasks and make updates to employee records in Workday, HRIS Support must review and approve the tasks and/ or processes for accuracy in order for them to be finalized in the system.
- Follows defined processes to ensure accurate data
- Maintains knowledge of all modules of HR specific technology in order to support Workday and UKG.
- Identifies areas in HR technology or process that may be able to be improved
- Completes basic HRIS related projects
MINIMUM EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Prior administrative support and/ or experience required. Experience in HR preferred. Working knowledge of data maintenance basic concepts is a plus. Some experience with Workday and UKG required.
Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:
- Comfortable using frequently changing software applications. Basic spreadsheet skills required; Google Suite experience preferred.
General Knowledge and Abilities:
- Excellent attention to detail required; knowledge of basic office procedures, strong verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of individuals. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to focus on key priorities and effectively juggle many different tasks at the same time.
Physical Requirements:
- Constant keyboarding. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
Work Environment:
Office, non-manual work; the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Some travel may be required.
