SUMMARY
The Contracts and Proposal Lead is responsible for the administration, review, and execution of customer contracts, long-term agreements (LTAs), and related activities. This role supports strategic pricing initiatives, ensures contractual compliance, and serves as a key liaison across Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to facilitate effective contract management and business execution. The position requires frequent collaboration with internal stakeholders and leadership to support business objectives and drive successful outcomes.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Review all contracts, customer terms and conditions, and customer RFQs to ensure alignment with company requirements and negotiate terms as needed, including shipping, payment, warranty, termination, liquidated damages, and other contractual provisions.
- Validate FAR/DFARS flow down clauses prior to customer acceptance and maintain the approved FAR/DFARS clause log by contract or purchase order.
- Develop, maintain, and administer customer agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other contractual documents.
- Track contract status from request through award and customer utilization and provide periodic summaries of active contracts.
- Ensure sales tax exemption compliance associated with customer purchase orders.
- Track, analyze, and report on pricing activity, contract awards, and long-term agreement (LTA) performance.
- Monitor contract pricing compliance and support implementation of approved pricing actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and profitability through pricing strategies and business initiatives.
- Develop reports and insights to support forecasting, decision-making, and business performance reviews.
- Serve as a liaison between Micro-Coax, Amphenol divisions, customers, and external partners, coordinating contract-related activities to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to contract management, pricing processes, and business operations.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
This role does not include direct supervisory responsibility for other employees. However, it provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in contracts administration, commercial operations, pricing, sales support, or a related business function, including hands-on contract review experience, is required.
- Experience reviewing government contracts a plus.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business and customer information appropriately.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, and keyboarding. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
- ASTM F–2412–2005, ANSI Z41–1999, or ANSI Z41–1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
- Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
