Welder

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $60,000-$65,000/year + Benefits

About the Company:

Our client is a supplier of material handling equipment. They have been in the industry for over 60 years and pride themselves on being the largest supplier of material handling solutions in Canada.

They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to take on a Welder to their team!

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding repairs on a variety of forklift and material handling equipment

• Repair cracks, damaged components, and worn structures to manufacturer and company standards

• Remove and reinstall mast channels and related components to facilitate repairs

• Modify new and existing equipment, including installation of sensor brackets, mast stops, and other custom components

• Inspect completed work to ensure repairs meet operational and safety standards

• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe operating condition

• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Record labour, materials, and repair details against the appropriate work orders

• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations

Requirements:

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience

• Must be CWB certified

• Must possess all safety equipment including helmet, gloves and safety shoes
