Job Description

This opening is within the Content team, developing and maintaining global financial statement templates on our ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting software, which currently supports compliance in over 40 countries. You will work primarily with the UK and Polish teams, and with the wider global Product and Content teams, with a focus on Portuguese-language financial statements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of reporting templates used by clients to create their financial statements in Portuguese
  • Assist in maintaining existing reporting templates so they comply with accounting regulations in different countries
  • Push templates to the web version and identify any issues that will affect clients
  • Conduct testing to verify content accuracy and software functionality, including testing of reporting templates and systems testing of the platform to ensure quality standards, development protocols, and requirements are met; document findings and help drive fixes
  • Assist in the preparation of release documentation including release notes, client and internal communications
  • Support internal stakeholders and Customer Support with research of client enquiries; gather feedback from the Support and Professional Services teams

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or other numerical qualifications (or equivalent overseas qualification)
  • Fluent Portuguese and English
  • Good technical skills
  • Strong attention to detail; knowledge of financial reporting
  • Clear written and verbal communication; receptive to feedback
  • Works well in teams, shares information, and follows through on commitments, including independently and within a team spread across the world

Preferred Qualifications

  • Introductory familiarity with tax and accounting research tools and AI-driven platforms; eager to learn new tools
  • Basic experience with tax and accounting compliance software (e.g., ONESOURCE or similar local tools) a plus
  • Foundational knowledge of data formats/structures (e.g., CSV, XML, SQL, XBRL, JSON) is helpful
  • Knowledge of any other language would be a plus

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Poland, the base compensation range for this role is 74,200 PLN - 137,800 PLN. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
