Qualified Mechanic

Job Description:

A person with a higher/secondary aviation education (Aviation technic and technologies, technical operation of the engines), with at least 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience or technical education with at least 5 years experience (one of helicopter type maintained in the Partnership) is appointed to the position of Qualified mechanic.

A valid aircraft maintenance license is preferred.

Must have wide knowledge in aircraft, power plant, mechanical parts and systems and test equipment.

Must have the knowledge and ability to repair damages on aircraft, its parts, turbines, mechanical systems and test equipment.

Knowledge of airframes and engines repair, maintenance methods. Knowledge in using testing equipment such as micrometers, rivet guns, power and hand drills and other heavy and hand equipment.

Must have knowledge and ability to do fabricating for airframes.  Knowledge and ability to handle tough and heavy duties for repair and inspection.

Ability to use (read and understand) Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Engine Manuals, Structural Repair Manuals (SRM), and other technical documentation in the language of the aircraft manufacturer (Aviation / Technical English).
