Responsibilities
What you will do
- Performs radiological procedures on patients of all age groups.
- Images must be reviewed by a staff technologists prior to submission for interpretation.
- Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
- Maintains competencies for all related tasks.
- Accurately follows all established imaging protocols.
- When performing exams in ICU or surgery the student tech must be accompanied by a staff technologists.
- Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
- Adhere to the Radiation Safety Policies and the principles of a viable dose reduction program.
- Provides patient education and communications in accordance with prescribed standards.
Qualifications
Education
- A student currently enrolled in as a 2nd year student in an accredited radiological technology program required

Licenses and Certifications
- BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required
