We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in graphic design, a fresh creative perspective, and a keen interest in the world of print publishing. The ideal candidate has a refined visual sensibility, an understanding of contemporary design trends, and a passion for editorial storytelling through typography, imagery, and layout.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in magazine production, working closely with the editorial and creative teams to bring stories to life across the pages of T Magazine MENA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and layout of print magazine pages, ensuring consistency with the publication’s visual identity.

  • Work on typography, typesetting, kerning, and layout refinement to achieve polished, publication-ready designs.

  • Support the editorial team with image placement, visual composition, and page development.

  • Prepare and organize design files for print production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.

  • Closely work with the Art Director to translate creative concepts into compelling visual layouts.

  • Conduct visual research and contribute fresh ideas, references, and inspiration for upcoming issues.

  • Assist with final layout checks, proofing, and design revisions ahead of print deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

  • Strong understanding of typography, editorial layouts, grid systems, and visual hierarchy.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to design execution.

  • A strong interest in fashion, art, culture, publishing, and contemporary visual trends.

  • Ability to take creative direction, incorporate feedback, and work collaboratively within a fast-paced editorial environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.

  • A portfolio demonstrating a strong design sensibility, typographic skills, and an understanding of editorial design.

Previous experience in editorial or print design is a plus, but not required. We value curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn.
