About the Role
As a Visual Designer at ShopOS, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling visual experiences that bring our brand, products, and marketing to life. You'll work closely with Marketing, Product, Founders, and the Creative team to create impactful visual assets across every customer touchpoint—from social media campaigns and websites to product launches, tutorials, presentations, videos, and digital marketing. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional visual craft, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through design. You'll play a key role in shaping how ShopOS looks and feels while ensuring every creative reflects our brand with consistency and quality.
What You'II Own
- Design high-quality visual assets for social media, digital campaigns, paid marketing, email marketing, and website content.
- Create compelling creatives for product launches, feature announcements, events, webinars, and brand campaigns.
- Develop visually engaging website pages, landing pages, and promotional graphics aligned with our brand identity.
- Design banners, posters, presentations, pitch decks, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
- Produce graphics, thumbnails, overlays, illustrations, and supporting assets for product tutorials, demos, and video content.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Founders, and Content teams to transform ideas into visually engaging experiences.
- Maintain and evolve ShopOS's visual identity across every customer-facing channel.
- Ensure consistency across typography, color palettes, layouts, imagery, iconography, and overall brand language.
- Leverage AI-powered creative tools and modern design workflows to improve speed, quality, and creative exploration.
- Stay updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and creative best practices to continuously elevate the quality of our visual communication.
What We're Looking For
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, Brand Designer, or Creative Designer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital marketing creatives, website designs, social media campaigns, and visual storytelling.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and other industry-standard creative tools.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, color theory, visual hierarchy, and brand design principles.
- Ability to create polished, pixel-perfect designs with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with Marketing, Product, Content, and Video teams in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain creative decisions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a high-growth startup environment with quick turnaround times and evolving priorities.
- Passion for visual storytelling, branding, creativity, and producing world-class design work.
Bonus Points
- Motion graphics or animation experience using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Experience designing marketing creatives for SaaS, AI, ecommerce, or technology companies.
- Basic video editing experience for promotional and tutorial content.
- Experience designing responsive websites or landing pages.
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway, or similar platforms.
- Illustration, iconography, or custom graphic creation skills.
- Experience working with brand guidelines and scaling visual identities across multiple channels.
- Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
