Strategic Sales Manager

MJK Connections is excited to partner with Roll A Shade on filling this highly impactful Sales Position with our client Roll A Shade.  This person will  drive sales growth for this highly respected brand and work with large commercial accounts.

The Strategic Sales Manager is responsible for achieving individual and departmental sales goals by proactively developing new business opportunities, growing customer relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role collaborates closely with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met, issues are resolved promptly, and long-term client partnerships are successfully maintained and expanded.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospecting: Identify potential customers and businesses to target sales opportunities. This may involve researching leads, attending events, or making cold calls.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to offer suitable products or services.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services and be able to effectively communicate their features and benefits to potential customers.
Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver sales presentations or demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing how the product or service meets their needs.
Sales Goals: Set and achieve sales targets and goals, often on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, depending on the organization's goals.
Negotiation: Negotiate with clients to close sales deals, discussing terms, pricing, and other relevant details to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Closing Sales: Effectively close sales by addressing objections and concerns, handling necessary paperwork, and securing payment.
Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales results. Generate and submit sales reports to management.
Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings to identify new sales opportunities.
Customer Support: Provide post-sales support, ensuring that customers are satisfied and addressing any issues or questions they may have.
Sales Software: Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools to manage leads, track progress, and forecast sales.

High school diploma or GED Required
Education: bachelor's degree Preferred
Travel: This position requires approximately 25% travel to customer locations and company headquarters Required
