About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel Miami is looking for a passionate and motivated Manager in Training (MIT) – Rooms Division who shares our commitment to excellence and exceptional guest experiences.

Our 18-month rotational program offers an exciting opportunity to develop the next generation of hospitality leaders through hands-on experience across key Rooms Division departments, including Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and other guest-facing operations.

Throughout the program, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of Four Seasons service standards, strengthen their leadership capabilities, and progressively assume supervisory responsibilities in at least two Rooms Division departments.

The program is designed to prepare participants for an Assistant Manager position upon successful completion, subject to performance and business needs.

What You Will Do

  • Gain hands-on experience in daily operations and line-level positions across assigned Rooms Division departments.
  • Lead daily briefings, support shift operations, and ensure consistent delivery of Four Seasons service standards.
  • Provide personalized guest experiences, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and support team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance discussions.
  • Support scheduling, payroll reviews, staffing plans, and labor management.
  • Conduct room inspections and operational audits to maintain quality, safety, and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback, service metrics, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support departmental goals, action plans, and initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities when assigned, responding to guest and operational needs.
  • Participate in leadership meetings, hotel projects, and development opportunities to broaden your management experience.
  • Complete all required program milestones, leadership assignments, and development projects throughout the 18-month journey.
  • Lead by example, embracing the Four Seasons Golden Rule and creating meaningful connections with guests and colleagues.

What You Will Bring

  • A college degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Two to three years of previous experience in the hospitality industry.
  • A genuine passion for luxury hospitality, service excellence, and leadership development.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to coach, motivate, and build positive relationships with team members.
  • A proactive mindset, adaptability, and a willingness to learn across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS), Microsoft Office, and general computer applications.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to completing the full 18-month rotational program.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for up to eight hours.
