Overview - Caregiver in Assisted Living
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CAREGIVERS to join our team at Farmstead Living. This role involves providing personalized support and assistance to residents. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, respectful, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
We are hiring PART TIME & FULL TIME for the following shifts:
- 7:00am - 7:30pm (12-hr day shift + every other weekend)
- 7:00pm - 7:30am (12-hr overnight shift + every other weekend)
Duties
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor residents’ health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns.
- Support residents during meals, including feeding if necessary, and assist with dietary needs.
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with team members regarding residents’ needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
Skills
- Compassionate nature with a desire to care for others in an assisted living setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adhere to care plans.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing or lifting.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude toward caregiving responsibilities.
