Hello, Massage Therapists of Bakersfield, we’d love to meet you! A new Elements Massage studio is opening December 2026 in Bakersfield, CA.
Our goal is to build the perfect massage therapy team of employees, where you WANT to come to work. Because we were founded by a massage therapist, we do things just a little differently. We'd love to show you what makes us special!
Compensation & Benefits
- Average of $40-$45/hr {base pay, tips and commissions combined}
- Complimentary monthly maintenance massage or facial for therapists working 25+ hours/week

Responsibilities
- Follow our proven systems to deliver a superior massage experience for clients and members
- Customize each massage to the client’s needs and preferences
- Offer a professional recommendation for next steps in the client’s care
- Complete SOAP/intake notes for every session
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Completed (or currently completing) a massage therapy educational program
- Current CAMTC certification, held or in progress (required to perform massage in California)
- A valid City of Bakersfield massage therapist permit, or willingness to obtain one before your first client session
- Experience welcome from private practice, medical massage, resort spa, medical spa, and beyond. We expect a diverse client base and want to match you with the work you love most
