Job Description

As a Security Guard Hospital Watch - Correctional Patient in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, and the public while reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
