The Operations Manager, Asset Protection - DC/FC, leads efforts to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance within distribution and fulfillment centers. This role involves leveraging data analytics and operational expertise to identify risks, implement security measures, and enhance safety protocols. The manager collaborates with stakeholders to drive process improvements, oversee investigations, and maintain adherence to environmental health and safety standards. The Asset Protection team collaborates closely with Operations, Maintenance, and site leadership to identify and mitigate safety, security, regulatory, and operational risks. This team is dedicated to protecting associates, inventory, facilities, and ensuring business continuity. They leverage data-driven insights and established processes to enhance safety standards and regulatory compliance. By fostering strong partnerships and applying operational excellence principles, the team supports a secure and efficient environment. Their focus includes emergency response, risk management, and continuous improvement to uphold Walmart’s commitment to safe and reliable operations across distribution centers and fulfillment centers.
What you'll do...
- Lead asset protection initiatives to prevent loss, theft, and security breaches within distribution centers and fulfillment centers.
- Utilize data collection and visualization tools to analyze incidents, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards through audits and risk assessments.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and coordinate with relevant agencies during incidents.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance operational workflows and promote a culture of safety and security.
- Train and mentor team members on asset protection policies and procedures.
What you'll bring...
- Proven expertise in asset protection, including theft prevention, security audits, and incident investigation within distribution or fulfillment centers.
- Strong knowledge of operational excellence principles, root cause analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience ensuring compliance with OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations, including emergency response coordination.
- Proficiency in data collection, visualization, and governance to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ability to develop and deliver training programs related to asset protection and safety standards.
- Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders and influence operational outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
