Overview
As a Shop Mechanic Helper at Bigge Crane and Rigging, you'll support shop mechanics in maintaining and repairing cranes and related equipment. Your responsibilities include keeping the shop clean and OSHA compliant, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and following all safety protocols. The role requires 2+ years of mechanical experience, knowledge of shop equipment and tools, understanding of gas/diesel engines and hydraulic systems, ability to read schematics, and capability to lift up to 40 lbs. You must have effective communication skills, a valid driver's license, and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
