Description
We are seeking an experienced **OpenStack 17 & 18 Architect** to join our client on a **fully remote** basis. This is a **12-month contract with the possibility of extension**. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
## Tasks
- Architect and deploy **OpenStack 17 & 18** environments, ensuring best practices in cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement robust cloud solutions for compute, storage, and networking.
- Optimize OpenStack performance, scalability, and security for enterprise-level workloads.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and integration with existing IT ecosystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex OpenStack-related issues.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and best practices for OpenStack deployments.
- Work on upgrades, migrations, and optimizations for OpenStack environments.
## Requirements
- **Proven experience** as an OpenStack Architect or Engineer, with expertise in **OpenStack 17 & 18**.
- Strong background in **cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and networking**.
- Hands-on experience with **Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP)**.
- Proficiency in **Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)**.
- Familiarity with automation tools like **Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes**.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of OpenStack environments.
- Strong scripting skills in **Python, Bash, or PowerShell**.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent communication skills.
