At Hiring.Camp, we believe privacy should be the default, not an option. We collect only what is strictly necessary.
Information We Collect
We do not require an account to browse jobs. Your visit is largely anonymous. However, we do require you to login for some functionalities, such as requesting a new company source.
- Usage DataWe use basic analytics to understand which jobs and companies are popular. This helps us decide which new sources to track.
- Local StorageWe use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (like "Dark Mode" or your preferred "View Mode").
How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect solely to provide and improve the service.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to third parties.
Browser Extension (Hiring.Camp Autofill)
The Hiring.Camp Autofill extension has one purpose: when you open a job application on a supported applicant tracking system (Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Breezy HR, JazzHR) and click the Autofill button, it fills the form with the profile details, saved application answers and resume you keep in your Hiring.Camp account. It never submits an application for you.
What it reads: the application form on the page you are on, and, on hiring.camp only, your signed-in session so it can fetch your own profile from our API. It runs only on the job-site domains listed in its permissions and on hiring.camp.
What it stores:your Hiring.Camp session token in the extension's local storage on your device, so it can request your profile without asking you to sign in again. Nothing else is stored, and nothing is sent anywhere other than api.hiring.camp.
What it does not do: it does not track your browsing, read other tabs, collect data from job sites, submit forms, or share any data with third parties. The profile data it fills in is the same data you entered on your Hiring.Camp profile, and you review every field on the real application page before you submit.
Remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions page; that deletes its stored token. Your Hiring.Camp account and profile are unaffected.
