Description
1) SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The Store Clerk shall be responsible for the security and the day-to-day storekeeping operations of the Purchasing Store of KPJRSH, which include receipt and supply of item purchase.
2) JOB DESCRIPTION
To adhere with the Vision, Mission, goals, objectives and values of the Company.
To receive items purchased and certify the receipt of goods.
To ensure that the items purchased of KPJRSH are handled in a professional manner in accordance to proper store-keeping standard.
Items to be tag with the correct code for easier charging by billing unit.
To supply items from the Central Store for all wards/services and unit of KPJRSH, on a First in First out (FIFO) basis.
To record stock movement of all items in Central Store into the computer system on daily basis, ensuring that the stock level records are up-to-date.
To monitor stock levels closely to prevent out of stock situation.
Implement the 5’s system for easy retrieval of document.
To be responsible for the security of the store at all times, ensuring that only authorized personnel may be dealt with and that the store is surely locked whenever it is left unattended.
To oversee the cleanliness of the store, ensuring that the shelves and the floor are cleaned on regular basis as required.
To eliminate the discrepancy between physical and system stock quantity.
Further instruction by the Top Management of RSH or KPJ as a whole.
Responsible and accountable to carry out all activities directed by the Management.
Other Responsibilities
Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and MSQH Hospital Accreditation Standard are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
Participate in 5S activities and comply with the specified requirements.
To ensure compliance at all point of engagement with patients/ customers/ guests at all times.
Responsible and accountable to achieve the needs of the patient’s and family’s rights at all times.
Ensure compliance to Patient Safety Goals at all points of engagements.
Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994.
* To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons.
* To co-operate with your employer or any other persons in the discharge of any duty.
* To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
* To comply with any instruction or measure on Occupational Safety and Health.
Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 37001 Anti Bribery Management System (ABMS) are adhered to and responsible for integrity principles, practices, and activities at hospitals & companies if and when these programs are implemented.
3) JOB REQUIREMENT
Minimum SPM / STPM.
One year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
Demonstrates the ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hospital, the brand and the Company.
Ability to identify market segments, niches and potential markets.
Willingness to do work after office hours/weekends/public holidays when required.
Microsoft office literacy.
Able to work well on multiple projects & meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibility and reliability to take charge of certain projects independently.
Willing to travel.
Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
Prepared to work as a team member in the manner the best.
