About the Role
As a Senior Data Analyst at Hyland, you'll be a trusted voice in turning complex data into meaningful business insights. You'll lead high-impact analyses, build dashboards, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to drive informed decision-making. This role blends deep analytical expertise with strong communication skills — making you not just a data expert, but a strategic advisor who helps the business move smarter and faster.
Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do
- Lead large, complex analyses by gathering insights from key internal stakeholders and delivering best practice guidance on business trends and issues.
- Develop, track, and maintain metrics and dashboards that provide clear visibility into business performance and key outcomes.
- Report on findings and deliver data-driven recommendations; summarize analyses into clear, concise presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
- Perform data integrity audits and evaluate data management methods and procedures, proposing improvements where needed.
- Monitor industry statistics and market trends, operating as a trusted advisor by providing consulting services grounded in deep subject matter expertise and best practices.
- Identify internal efficiencies, contribute to the team's knowledge base, and provide training and guidance on how to interpret and apply data effectively.
Role Essentials
You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:
- Practical experience as a Data Analyst with a demonstrated ability to lead complex analyses and develop sound, data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor; able to articulate complex topics to diverse audiences with discretion and tact.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to research, gather, and integrate information from a variety of sources.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the demonstrated ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
