Human Resources Administrative Assistant *Bilingual - Second Shift

Overview

Our Pet Supplies Plus distribution center (Pet Depot) is seeking an Human Resources Administrative Assistant *Bilingual. They will provide HR administrative support, assist with new hire onboarding, and facilitate team member engagement activities in support of distribution of all of our pet-friendly merchandise within our store supply chain.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Human Resources Administrative Assistant *Bilingual key responsibilities include:

• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
• Lead new hire orientations
• Assist with translating for effective team communication and be a liaison to warehouse floor for team member regarding attendance concerns and human resource issues
• Provide administrative support for the HR Manager and assisting safety ambassador, as needed.
• Support a fun learning environment and track the team recognition program; maintain postings on the bulletin boards, and suggestion boxes weekly, also assisting with team member engagement activities, vet area, donation basket, etc.
• Assist with branded product ordering, distribution, and inventory for the distribution center and the team
• Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
• Complete weekly cleaning of designated areas

 

 

Human Resources Administrative Assistant *Bilingual requirements include:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Previous Human Resources experience
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail/accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment while managing multiple tasks
