Description
OUR MISSION
We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.
As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.
Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll join Thyme Care for a six-month engagement to help us scale high-volume hiring across our non-clinical Care Delivery teams. You’ll primarily support roles like Social Workers, Enrollment Specialists, Care Partners, Practice Coordinators, and other member-facing or operational roles. Additionally, you may support hiring for corporate roles as priorities shift.
We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who can ramp quickly, manage significant hiring volume, and become a trusted partner to our leaders. You’ll bring a process improvement mentality that will help us to continue evolving how we recruit.
Own high-volume searches end-to-end, from intake and sourcing through interviews, offers, and close.
Partner closely with Care Delivery leaders to understand hiring needs, anticipate demand, and build effective recruiting strategies.
Manage multiple roles and significant candidate volume while maintaining speed, quality, and a positive candidate experience.
Build and engage pipelines through inbound applicants, proactive sourcing, and referrals.
Use recruiting data and funnel insights to identify bottlenecks, adjust strategies, and improve results.
Help hiring managers build a competency-based interview process that is efficient, scalable, and grounded in a positive candidate experience.
Understand that AI is changing the craft of recruiting and actively experiment with new tools and workflows. Be willing to build, fail, and learn to find where AI can meaningfully improve the process without replacing human judgement.
Ability to flex into Corporate roles when needed based on hiring demand and team capacity.
Identify opportunities to make our high-volume recruiting processes more scalable, efficient, and effective.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth company or other high-volume environment.
Proven success managing high-volume hiring across operations, customer/member-facing, sales, support, or similar populations.
Strong track record independently owning searches and delivering against ambitious hiring targets.
Experience managing multiple roles and large candidate funnels without sacrificing candidate experience or quality.
Strong sourcing skills with experience using both inbound and outbound strategies.
Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and confidently advising or pushing back when appropriate.
Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience applying AI and emerging technologies to understand how they can improve recruiting.
Strong candidate management, offer negotiation, and closing skills.
Experience using recruiting data and funnel metrics to diagnose problems and improve results.
Fluent using modern applicant tracking systems, preferably Ashby.
Healthcare experience is not required. We care more about your ability to ramp quickly, learn the business, and deliver.
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
Members-first. Thyme Care’s mission and members matter to you, deeply.
High-volume recruiting expertise. You know how to move quickly and manage significant hiring volume without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.
AI curiosity. You believe AI will change recruiting and want to help figure out how. You experiment, learn quickly, and aren’t afraid to try something that may not work the first time.
Ownership. You can come in, get context quickly, and run. You identify problems early and take responsibility for getting searches across the finish line.
Strong partnership. You build credibility with hiring managers and candidates through responsiveness, judgment, and clear communication. Your relationships allow you to persuade and influence when needed.
Agility and adaptability. You can move between hiring populations as business needs change and are comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.
Candidate-focused. You recognize that recruiting is a relationship business and create an experience that makes great candidates want to join Thyme Care.
Team mindset. Even in a six-month engagement, you operate as part of the team, share what you learn, and help improve how we recruit beyond your individual searches.
