Charleston Healthcare Center currently has a FT opening for a Payroll Specialist to join our team!
As Payroll Specialist, you will efficiently compile and maintain payroll records for Moundsville Healthcare Center employees. This includes:
- Field overtime, paid time, and trade requests, and communicating with Corporate Payroll as needed.
- Respect the confidentiality and dignity of employees.
- Review daily exemption sheets for payroll.
- Ensure that payroll records are accurately maintained.
- Generate payroll reports and distribute them to department heads for review.
- Answer questions from employees, department heads, etc. regarding payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Payroll experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience in Workday and/or Kronos preferred
- Excellent organization skills and high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
