LOCATION: The Club at Longview
DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage
REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Manager/Banquet Management
The following reflects basic service standards and job description for a Banquet Server at The Club at Longview
Aims & Objectives:
Perform food and drink serving duties at meal periods and special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare proper table, room, and drink set up for time of event/meeting, to include moving, rolling and lifting of tables and chairs.
- Greet customers upon their arrival in a friendly manner.
- Serve beverages and food in appropriate order and in tune with the expectation of the banquet captain to ensure consistency throughout the event.
- Remove dishes as guests finish each meal or at the end of the function.
- Replenish beverages when necessary and check with guests to make sure we are exceeding guests expectations.
- Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner – clean/wipe down tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as necessary.
- After banquet concludes, reset banquet room in accordance with the banquet captain’s specification to ensure the rooms are presentable for future functions.
- Complete any assigned duties as requested by Food & Beverage Management Team.
- Attend any training or meetings held as requested by management.
- Willing and able to lift/push 30+lbs.
- Assist other departments when necessary while maintaining other departments’ standards.
- Take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
