Enterprise Senior SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris Business Analyst (12-Month Contract)

Join a leading global technology and consulting organisation delivering a complex digital transformation programme for a major enterprise client, on a hybrid basis in Cape Town.

 

You'll work alongside business stakeholders, architects, developers, and delivery teams to deliver enterprise-grade SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.

 

This role is suited to a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between business and technology, translate complex requirements into practical outcomes, and build credibility with stakeholders across the organisation.

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement validation sessions.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and integration specialists throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support Agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement and sprint planning.
• Drive story readiness and ensure requirements are clearly understood by delivery teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stakeholder sign-off.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, recommending practical solutions.

 

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

 

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, Commerce, Technology, or a related field.
• 5 to 8 years’ experience as a Senior Business Analyst within enterprise eCommerce environments.
• Strong SAP Commerce Cloud and/or SAP Hybris experience. Note: Candidates with a solid Hybris background are encouraged to apply.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce processes, including product catalogues, pricing, promotions, order management, and fulfilment.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to engage confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.

 

HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS

 

• Exposure to SAP FICO and related integrations.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong SAP ECC experience will also be considered.
• Experience within retail, distribution, or enterprise eCommerce environments.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools.

 

YOUR REWARD

 

• Rate: R900 - R1000 per hour
• Contract Duration: 12-month contract
