As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Report Writing in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related operations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site requirements; report unauthorized access attempts and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
