The opportunity.
Are you ready to make a real impact at a fast-paced, innovative fintech company? Trumid, a rapidly growing New York City-based leader in fixed income trading technology, is looking for a driven Sales Intern to join our Sales team for Summer 2027. This is a paid, 8-10 week internship where you'll get a front-row seat to how a high growth organization builds and deepens relationships with the world's largest buy and sell-side institutions, learning what it takes to sell a product that is changing how the corporate bond market trades.
You'll work alongside our sales professionals to understand our clients, our markets, and our platform: shadowing live conversations, contributing to real projects, and presenting your work to the team by the end of the summer.
Not sure if a career in FinTech sales is right for you? Just ask yourself a few questions:
- Are you a self-starter who learns quickly, prioritizes well, and stays creative and proactive under pressure?
- Do you have excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to build relationships, share insights, and learn from others?
- Do you thrive in a team environment and love producing results?
- Are you curious about technology, capital markets, and how the two come together to reshape global finance?

- Intellectually Curious. You ask "why," dig deeper, and want to understand how things really work.
- Resilient & Proactive. When you hit a wall, you find a door before asking for help. You don't wait to be told what to do next, you take initiative.
- One Team, One Dream. You put the team first and understand that collective wins matter most.
- Comfortable Being Uncomfortable. You lean into new challenges and unfamiliar situations rather than away from them.
- Relationship-Driven. You build rapport naturally and genuinely enjoy connecting with others.
- Tech-Forward . You not only want to understand our clients and the markets, but also our product: why we make enhancements, how they help, and how we can continue to improve and innovate.
- AI-Minded. You're excited to work at an AI-native company and look for ways to use AI tools to work smarter, sharpen your client and market insights, and add more value in less time.
Qualifications:
- Within one year of undergraduate graduation (December 2027 – May 2028 graduation date)
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field
- Demonstrated interest in finance, markets, and technology through campus organizations, prior internships, or other outlets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excel skills; ability to synthesize data to support business and client strategy

What You'll Do.
- Learn About Our Clients & Markets. Develop a working understanding of who our clients are, what they need, and how the corporate bond market operates.
- Immerse. Sit alongside our sales professionals during live client conversations and internal strategy sessions to see how relationships are built and deals move forward.
- Present. Build and deliver a presentation to the team, sharing what you've learned and the insights you've developed over the summer.
- Projects. Take ownership of real, meaningful projects that support the Sales team and contribute to the business.
- Improve Our Processes. Look for ways to make our sales workflows better our past interns have made a real impact by streamlining and improving the processes they touched.
