Intern, Electrical Engineering

Overview

Gray AES is looking to add an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Atlanta, GA office for Summer 2027.

Who we want… (Requirements)• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.• Excellent oral and written communication skills.• Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment.• Revit experience preferred.

Qualifications

What we expect… (Essential Functions)• Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security systems.• Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements.• Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations.• Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission.• Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals.• Other duties as assigned

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required.
