Job Title- Regional Lead, Vulnerability Response Management, VP

Location- Pune, India

Role Description

  • The Regional Lead for Vulnerability Response Management is responsible for overseeing vulnerability response and remediation activities across a designated geographic region (e.g., EMEA, Americas, APAC). The role ensures the timely identification, prioritization, escalation, remediation, and reporting of vulnerabilities while maintaining compliance with corporate cyber security standards, regulatory requirements, and remediation SLAs.

  • The Regional Lead acts as the primary liaison between Global Vulnerability Management, regional technology teams, application owners, infrastructure teams, cloud platforms, risk functions, and senior management to drive vulnerability reduction and improve the organization’s cyber resilience.

Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the regional vulnerability response function and oversee the activities of Vulnerability Response Managers.

  • Ensure serious vulnerabilities are assessed and prioritized according to enterprise standards.

  • Drive remediation of serious vulnerabilities and regulatory-relevant vulnerabilities.

  • Coordinate regional response to zero-day and actively exploited vulnerabilities.

  • Monitor and manage regional vulnerability exposure and risk.

  • Act as the senior representative for vulnerability response within the region

  • Detail up to 3 key stakeholders and relationships the role will interact with, including breadth of leadership accountabilities:

  • Technology Leadership (CIOs / Technology Heads)

  • CISO & Security Leadership

  • Technology Risk, Audit & Regulatory Functions

Your skills and experience

  • Extensive experience in Vulnerability Management, Cyber Defense, Security Operations, or Cyber Risk Management.

  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.

  • Proven track record managing enterprise-scale vulnerability remediation programmes.

  • Experience operating within complex, global organizations.

  • Strong understanding of risk-based vulnerability prioritization.

  • Leadership and people management

  • Exposure to regulatory environments such as:

    • NIST SP 800-40

    • DORA

    • FCA/PRA requirements

    • ISO 27001

    • NIST Cybersecurity Framework

  • soft skills for example: excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • background example, i.e. certifications

  • i.e. Master’s/LLM

  • i.e. self-motivated

  • i.e. self-starter

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
