Property Manager

We're growing! We’re looking for passionate, driven and energetic candidates to join our Residential Operations team for the position of Property Manager for properties located in Windsor, ON. This is a temporary contract for 12-14 months. 

Compensation: Starting at $75,000 annually plus bonus.

We are looking for a people-focused leader to manage a portfolio of residential properties and create outstanding resident experiences and drive operational success. You will focus on tenant retention and occupancy, lead on-site teams and oversee property operations, while playing a key-role in building safe, welcoming and vibrant communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead day to day operations of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and strong building performance.
• Oversee property budgets, operating costs, capital projects and vendor contracts, to maximize efficiency and value
• Manage on-site teams through leadership and coaching to drive results and employee success.
• Ensure properties remain well-maintained and compliant through regular inspections and adherence to health and safety standards. 
• Drive tenant retention by fostering positive tenant relationships, proactively addressing concerns, and delivering an exceptional living experience that encourages long-term tenancy.
• Respond to site emergencies and work closely with internal teams, contractors, and community partners to support operational excellence. 

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of property management experience, with a strong understanding of residential operations and tenant relations (including the requirement to be on-call)
• Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act and Landlord and Tenant Board processes. 
• Proven leadership skills with experience coaching, supporting and motivating teams. 
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with invoices, managing operating expenses, and budget adherence. 
• Excellent communication, customer service and conflict-resolution skills. 
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, property management software, or the ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly.
• A valid drivers licence, reliable vehicle, insurance, and ability to travel to properties across the region.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
