We seek to hire a dynamic and creative communications professional with a passion for Media Relations and Social Media, with a specific focus on the tech industry across Latam South.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling instincts, and a genuine curiosity about the ever-evolving media landscape. You will play a role in shaping how Ericsson is perceived by journalists, media outlets, and social media audiences across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.

The Sr. Communications Analyst will support the execution of Media Relations and Social Media strategies across Latam South, working in close alignment with the regional and Americas Communications teams to deliver high-quality, creative content and press engagement that resonates with our diverse audiences.

You will work hands-on with the team, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to everything from press outreach to social media content creation.

What you will do

• Support the media relations strategy across Latam South, managing day-to-day activities in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.
• Pitch stories, write and distribute press releases, media briefings, and other press materials tailored to local markets
• Develop and execute Social Media strategies and content for Ericsson's presence across the Latam South countries
• Create engaging, high-quality posts and digital content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with Group and Americas communications guidelines
• Monitor media coverage, social media trends, and geopolitical developments relevant to the business, providing regular insights to the team
• Support the coordination of media interviews, press events, and spokesperson briefings
• Contribute to the development of creative content including thought leadership pieces, blogs, infographics, and videos

You will bring

• Degree in Journalism, Public Relations or other related courses
• Experience in press/media relations, preferably in the technology industry
• Passion for Media Relations, Technology, and Social Media
• Curiosity about geopolitics and its intersection with the technology and business landscape
• High writing skills and a strong sense of storytelling
• Sharp attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for Social Media platforms and digital communications
• Enthusiasm and familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, among others) applied to communications and content creation
• Creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to communications campaigns
• English and Portuguese skills (spoken and written), and Spanish preferred
• Work model: Hybrid – São Paulo
