Your responsibilities:
Business / Project execution:
acts as the Program life cycle owner from Quote to the end of Production; brings strategy and holistic approach by consolidating and cascading the activities breakdown to competency leaders
responsible to achieve flawless launches - full ownership to deliver end to end programs on time, with quality and in charge of profitability; the ownership over:
overall project plan including project schedule
scheduling POP Design Reviews,
Risk Management Plan,
POP Project Reviews,
Open lssue List,
change points management,
project organization chart,
conducting weekly cross-functional project meetings,
industrialization / manufacturing and supplier readiness
leads projects in line with company specified methodology
consolidates reporting on program statuses, from various data sources, for Aptiv Leadership and Customer
Cost and budget:
accountable of profitability achievement for their assigned business, profit management, including: project financials, Matrial stretch allocation to competencies & tracking of execution, change management governance, MCIP execution to target, Build budget for Budget business plan cycle (Resource demand, Capital expense, material, credits)
CAPEX planning and tracking of spend and contribution - supports overall portfolio
secures appropriation requests' approvals on time for project execution
owns Budget Planning
Customer relationships:
acts as the customer contact for regular management communication and escalation
interfaces for product's scope and timing related aspects
responsible for multiple customers and complex products
responsible for understanding customer technology roadmap and building relationships with key customers; being a "Voice of the Customer"
facilitates issue resolution together with competency Leaders for win-win solutions - this also includes preventive escalation, internal & external
New business:
supports new business development activities; drive Initial Project Plan: timing plan, risk assessment and change points activities for new quotes s
sets up the program in accordance with the APTIV standard program management procedures / playbook. lt includes:
timing and gates
governance
program organization
staffing plan
risk management
KPls and dashboards
Continuous lmprovement:
supports enterprise effectiveness/efficiency and lean functional excellence by Lean / l&CIM techniques
People Management:
leads and manages the team of direct reports, Project Managers, on their performance evaluation and development
partners with Supervisors of Functional Leaders (matrix reporting) to support Leaders' performance evaluation and development
communicates organization goals and commitments
takes part in HR activities i.e. recruiting, MyCore, onboarding (supported by PMO)
plays a critical role as coach and mentor to develop team members
monitors and takes actions on project capacity resource management (planning, tracking, anticipating needs, escalating gaps - in partnership with Functional Leaders)
Compliance:
responsible for complying to standards, policies and procedures
drives process adherence, especially ASPICE MAN3/5 Compliance, IATF/ISO 16949, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity
supports relevant assessments and audits maintains required documentation and reporting
Your background:
Bachelor or Master degree in economical, business management or engineering filed or relevant professional experience on similar role
Solid professional experience in an international company on broad program portfolio management related role
Experienced in electronics and software product development
Proven records of successful Customer front-end & project experience (2-3 projects)
German native speaker & business fluent language skills for English is mandatory
Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMI, Prince2, Agile)
Experienced in automotive or adjacent markets and product related knowledge
Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals
Excellent communication skills, including coaching and mentoring skills
Strong negotiations skills in order to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances. Holding others accountable to meet commitments
Advanced ability to manage finances of projects' portfolio and manifesting accountability for the overall results
Ability to approach the challenges and making the decision with sense of urgency
Fluent Swedish, Italian, French or other language skills would be an asset
