  • Integrate data from multiple sources to streamline reporting, automate manual processes, and improve reporting consistency and efficiency.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, quality checks, and user acceptance testing to ensure reporting outputs are accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose.
  • Document methodologies, business rules, data sources, operating procedures, and change impacts for key analytics and reporting processes.
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to deliver on business objectives.
  • Support ad-hoc deep dives, executive briefing materials, and broader analytics initiatives as business priorities evolve.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field of study; advanced degree considered an asset.
  • 2–3+ years of experience in data manipulation, analytics, business intelligence, performance reporting, sales analytics, finance analytics, or compensation analytics.
  • Familiarity with Financial Planning, Investments, sales force performance management, target setting, scorecards, or incentive compensation is a strong asset.
  • Strong technical capability in SQL, SAS, Excel, Power BI, SSRS, Python, Tableau, or similar analytics / reporting tools.
  • Ability to translate complex data and business rules into clear insights, recommendations, reporting logic, and stakeholder-ready narratives.
  • Strong attention to detail, with experience validating data, reconciling outputs, documenting assumptions, and maintaining high-quality reporting processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration, consulting, problem-solving, and influencing skills; comfortable working independently and managing non-routine analytical requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote reporting automation, self-serve analytics, and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Capabilities

  • Experience supporting Financial Planner, advisor, branch, or specialized sales force reporting.
  • Experience with target allocation, compensation modelling, scorecard design, scenario analysis, and business impact assessment.
