[What the role is]
The Senior Executive, Finance is responsible for supporting Accounts Receivable (AR) operations across various business portfolios, including billing, collections, debt management, account reconciliation and stakeholder support. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial processing, effective revenue collection, compliance with financial policies and continuous improvement of finance operations.[What you will be working on]
What You Will Be Working On
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including billing, collections, debt management, account maintenance, adjustments and refunds.
Process and maintain billing activities for various revenue streams, such as projects, rentals, student accommodation, Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes and miscellaneous adhoc billings.
Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate timely collection of debts.
Perform account reconciliations and prepare reports to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, exceptions and areas requiring follow-up.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing, payment, refund and account-related matters.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, internal controls and audit requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records to support operational, reporting and governance requirements.

Review and enhance work processes through streamlining, digitalisation and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
Support the implementation, enhancement and testing of finance systems and related applications.
Participate in finance-related projects, process improvement initiatives and transformation efforts.
Provide guidance and support to users on finance-related processes and systems.
Collaborate with Schools, Departments and stakeholders to support organisational objectives and operational requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing within the Finance Department.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Relevant working experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, finance operations or shared services environment.
Good understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and receivables management processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Experience with Workday and STEP is preferred.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Meticulous, customer-focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset and interest in process optimisation and digitalisation.
