The Senior Real Estate Analyst plays a vital role in supporting Berkadia’s Affordable Tax Credit Solutions by providing analytical expertise and ensuring the successful execution of real estate transactions. This position involves conducting due diligence, valuing Affordable Housing properties, sizing loans, and managing critical processes to drive transactions to closing. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach in a dynamic environment.

- Support Affordable Tax Credit Solutions professionals in sourcing and executing business opportunities.
- Participate in marketing and sales efforts to drive local market engagement.
- Mentor and guide Real Estate Analysts on deal-related tasks, including cash flow analysis and cost report reviews.
- Leverage centralized resources, including teams based in Hyderabad, India, to enhance efficiency and execution.
- Analyze commercial and multifamily real estate, including generating pro forma valuations and identifying appropriate loan options.
- Prepare formal loan submissions by drafting quotes, updating internal systems (e.g., Salesforce), preparing loan applications, drafting approval memos, and addressing internal reporting needs.
- Lead deal processing from application through closing, ensuring all steps are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Review due diligence materials and pertinent market data, such as rent/sale comps, capitalization rates, market trends, and competitor information, to evaluate loan opportunities.
- Interface with external stakeholders, including property owners, capital providers, vendors, consultants, and attorneys, to facilitate successful transactions.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook; experience with tools such as pivot tables, chart formatting, and presentation animation preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Experience interfacing with customers and building professional relationships.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
