Job Summary
As an Operational Excellence Quality & Sanitation Co-op, you will provide support by performing data collections from day-to-day operational activities in the field as well as standardization and digitalization of several process templates. This position may require flexibility of rotating between multiple facilities and supporting multiple projects at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct time studies, data sampling, and documentation across multiple facilities
- Support project leaders and engineers with process improvement initiatives, including data collection and analysis
- Prepare reports and summaries for assigned tasks and communicate updates to the teams
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement processes and digitalizing forms and applications
- Gather and document requirements for current processes across sites
- Help create training materials for updated processes
Key Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial) or related field.
- Interest in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement within a food manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with food safety program (HACCP), GMP, and Quality Systems.
- Able to work evening or weekend shifts if required
- Valid license and access to personal vehicle for travel between sites is an asset
