We offer a competitive starting salary of €45,000.00 for this role, with salary adjustments reflecting your experience level and expertise. .

In this role, you'll work on high-impact engagements that shape how global enterprises govern data, deploy AI responsibly, and build consumer trust.

You'll partner with senior leaders on transformational projects, mentor emerging talent, and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders navigating some of the most critical regulatory challenges of our time.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

• Proven client-facing experience in data privacy, AI governance, or internet regulatory advisory within professional services or equivalent industry roles, with demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver under pressure.
• Deep expertise in privacy and AI regulation frameworks—particularly GDPR, EU AI Act, DSA, and DMA—combined with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, implementable solutions.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand data flows, system architectures, and the technical implications of privacy and AI governance across diverse platforms and technologies; experience with privacy impact assessments (PIAs) or AI impact assessments is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with proven ability to synthesise complex regulatory concepts into clear, compelling reports and client presentations that drive decision-making at senior levels.

What type of work will I be doing?

• Conduct Privacy and AI Assessments: Perform data protection and AI governance assessments and gap analyses, ensuring robust controls across the personal data lifecycle and AI systems.
• Design GRC Frameworks: Contribute to the creation and operationalisation of customised privacy policies, AI governance frameworks, and trustworthy technology controls, including second-line-of-defence functions such as Trust & Safety and Integrity Compliance.
• Regulatory Evaluation & Forecasting: Analyse emerging data privacy, AI, and internet regulations to help clients understand strategic implications and stay ahead of compliance obligations.
• Develop Training Programs: Design and deliver tailored training and awareness initiatives that empower clients to embed privacy and trustworthy technology best practices across their organisations.
• Manage Compliance Obligations: Support clients with regulatory requirements including Records of Processing (ROPAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), AI governance reviews, data retention compliance, systemic risk assessments, and regulatory readiness evaluations.
• Assess Tools and Platforms: Perform compliance reviews of applications, platforms, and systems against privacy laws, AI Act requirements, and Digital Services Act (DSA) standards, including content moderation and transparency policy assessments.
• Implement Privacy-Enhancing Technologies: Work with alliance partners to deploy tailored privacy solutions, provide technical advisory support, and guide clients on identity and access management concepts aligned with privacy by design principles.
• Mentor and Lead: Provide guidance and support to junior team members through collaborative problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and task coordination, helping to build capability across the team.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

Professional certifications in data privacy, AI governance, or internet regulations—such as IAPP CIPP/E, AIGP, CIPM, or CIPT—or a privacy engineering background are valued. Experience or certification in project or program management is also preferred, though not essential.
