Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Bethlehem, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and maintain accurate access records. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor logs, issuing temporary access badges, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Screen incoming deliveries and outbound shipments as directed, verify documentation, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and designated restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
