Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Lobby Services Driver in Quakertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, support security-related operations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Familiarity with alarm panel operations is essential for roles involving security and safety protocols.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required for various tasks, including reporting and communication.

• CPR CertificationCandidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Free training is provided by Allied Universal for those who do not have this certification.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)Previous experience in customer service is highly valued, as it reflects the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.

• Loss Prevention (B210)Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is preferred for roles focused on security and asset protection.

• Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)All candidates must possess a valid driver's license that meets the requirements outlined in the AU Driver Policy (C123). This includes:

  • A current and valid license without any restrictions that would impede the ability to drive for work purposes.
  • Compliance with any specific conditions set forth by the relevant state or territory authorities.

• Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)Candidates must also hold a valid driver's license that is recognized in the state where the job will be performed, as per the In Job State policy (C124). This includes:

  • Verification that the license is not expired and is appropriate for the type of vehicle to be driven.
  • Adherence to any additional state-specific regulations regarding driving qualifications.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor front desk activity, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and issue access credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, coordinate with site contacts, and provide clear information regarding facility entry and delivery-related processes.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating details to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, policy violations, or facility concerns to designated contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
