Description
Contract Specialist
Gordian is seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to join the Program Development & Contracting team. The Contract Specialist will play a key role in supporting the development, administration, maintenance, and compliance of contracts across Gordian's client portfolio. This individual will work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure contract-related activities are effectively coordinated and managed throughout the contract lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with Gordian clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate, review, and distribute critical contractual information to internal teams and external partners.
- Develop, review, and support publicly solicited and privately negotiated contract documents, amendments, renewals, and related materials.
- Assist Program Delivery Managers, Program Developers, and other stakeholders throughout the contract development, solicitation, execution, and maintenance processes.
- Coordinate, prepare, and review contract activity to support performance evaluations, renewals, extensions, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update key contractual information, schedules, and records within spreadsheets, databases, Smartsheet, CRM platforms, and document repositories.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external meetings throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Support contractor engagement, client support, and operational initiatives across Gordian programs.
- Monitor contractual requirements and ensure documentation, records, and reporting are maintained accurately and consistently.
- Coordinate and distribute key contractual information with Gordian's internal teams, including Program Delivery, Business Development, Legal, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
- Respond to and manage daily contract-related inquiries from clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and tracking of key performance indicators, reporting metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and program assessments as needed.
- Manage special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative team environment while fostering positive working relationships.
- Highly organized and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret, review, and manage contractual documentation and related requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 51,300.00 - 85,700.00.
