Location Overview:
Our London office is based just a stone’s throw from the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral on bustling King Edward Street. Here you’ll find modern workspaces and a state-of-the-art auditorium space. The Team:
- GCIB Credit is part of the Enterprise Credit organisation. We underwrite loans and trades and manage the credit relationships with medium and large corporate clients. We work closely with other lines of business and support partners such as Corporate & Investment Banking, FICC and Risk. There are approximately 160 team members across 8 sites in 6 countries.
- You will be joining a friendly team to assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You will work closely with another admin assistant who has a wealth of experience to share with a motivated candidate
- You will be providing general team support to a large group, rather than working closely with individuals. Every day will be different!
Role Description:
Respond to and follow up on admin support requests via the team shared mailbox including
- Travel bookings & expense submissions
- Technology and application access requests using internal request systems
- General office admin such as stationery and facilities requests
- Assist with planning and running internal events
- Updating spreadsheets and presentations and creating PDF documents
- Light-touch calendar management for some members of the management team and/or assisting with setting up large or complex meetings
- You will also be expected to
- Anticipate needs and proactively identify ways to add value
- Assist with ad-hoc projects
- Provide holiday cover for other admin staff
Note: Training will be provided on all internal systems
What we are looking for:
- Self-aware team player with lots of intellectual curiosity
- Previous experience in a busy office environment, ideally large corporate
- Comfortable with technology and ready to learn new systems and applications as required
- Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the team
- Effective verbal and written communications with executives, colleagues and support partners
Skills that will help:
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Accurate typing – approx. 40 wpm
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
- Ability to handle confidential material
