Job Description:
We are looking for a strategic, growth oriented and highly collaborative Director, Alliances Partner Marketing to join our Global Partner Marketing organization and support our strategy across our technology alliance ecosystem and execute alongside marketing, partner and GTM counterparts.
This leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing joint go-to-market strategies that drive awareness, customer acquisition, marketplace growth, partner-sourced pipeline, and revenue. The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of partner marketing expertise, hyperscaler ecosystem knowledge, cybersecurity experience, and executive relationship management skills.
As a key member of the Global Partner Marketing team, you will work closely with Alliance Managers, Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Sales, and Partner stakeholders to maximize the impact of Darktrace's strategic cloud partnerships.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a marketer who thrives in a fast-paced team and loves to create innovative and scalable programs and experiences across the globe to drive hypergrowth across market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Execution
Create co-messaging and campaigns for target audience and/or industry-specific plays partnering with PMM and GTM to align messaging, positioning, content, use cases, and activations to deliver revenue influence.
Increase marketplace engagement and hyperscaler partner collaboration to increase relevance, create demand and deliver incremental pipeline.
Create activation-ready toolkits to support co-sell and pipeline creation across alliance partnerships.
Design repeatable frameworks, planning cadences, activation playbooks, and connected workflows that enable consistent global execution and measurable outcomes.
Pipeline & Demand Generation
Drive measurable growth in alliance-sourced and alliance-influenced pipeline.
Own pipeline creation and acceleration for the defined audience/segments through tech alliance partnerships.
Plan, orchestrate and execute events virtually and in-person to drive Darktrace value and meetings that will help scale programs.
Support marketplace listings and promotion.
Create co-marketing materials and campaigns that can land across all critical channels to support enablement, co-selling and demand generation.
Competitive & Market Intelligence
Monitor cybersecurity and AI trends, funding priorities, and competitive insights to inform plans and plays for sales, product and executive leadership.
Operational Excellence
Define KPIs for awareness, engagement, and pipeline contribution and track, measure and report monthly and quarterly.
Build repeatable processes leveraging Darktrace systems for campaign execution and optimization.
Manage marketing budget, MDF, rebate incentives with 100% accuracy and transparency, delivering ROI and pipeline.
What Skills and Experiences You Need
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management and/or communications
10+ years of B2B marketing experience with at least 5 years in technology alliance partnerships and 3 years in cybersecurity.
Proven track record driving alliance-sourced and alliance influenced-pipeline
Microsoft and AWS experience required.
Strong story creator that can translate technical capabilities into use cases, with clear value and benefits that drive action.
Proven ability to scale event programs—including webinars, executive dinners, and tradeshow ancillary events—using repeatable frameworks and templates.
Ability to operate in a fast-moving, competitive cybersecurity landscape with agility and dealing with ambiguity
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially partnering with stakeholders across Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams
Hands on experience with marketing automation and digital marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot, Gainsight)
Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder alignment abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
Ability to operate in a fast-moving, competitive cybersecurity landscape with agility and dealing with ambiguity
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
